حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ الدِّمْياطِيُّ، وَمُطَّلِبُ بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ، قَالَا: ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، حَدَّثَنِي مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ بُسْرٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَمَّتِهِ الصَّمَّاءِ أُخْتِ بُسْرٍ، أَنَّهَا كَانَتْ تَقُولُ: نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ صِيَامِ يَوْمِ السَّبْتِ، وَقَالَ: «إِنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ أَحَدُكُمْ إِلَّا عُودًا أَخْضَرَ فَلْيُفْطِرْ عَلَيْهِ»
Sayyidah al-Samma' (may Allah be pleased with her), the sister of Busr, used to say: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade fasting on Saturday, and said: "If one of you finds nothing to break his fast with except a green twig, let him break his fast with it."
حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ حَفْصٍ السَّدُوسِيُّ، ثنا عَاصِمُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، ثنا اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ صَالِحٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ بُسْرٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَمَّتِهِ الصَّمَّاءِ، أَنَّهَا كَانَتْ تَقُولُ: «نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ صَوْمِ يَوْمِ السَّبْتِ»
Sayyidah al-Samma' (may Allah be pleased with her) used to say: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade fasting on Saturday.
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْمِصْرِيُّ الْأَيْلِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ ثَوْرِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ دُحَيْمٍ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ، ثنا أَبِي، ثنا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ ثَوْرِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ بُسْرٍ، عَنْ أُخْتِهِ الصَّمَّاءِ ، أَنَّهَا: سَمِعَتِ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «لَا تَصُومُوا يَوْمَ السَّبْتِ إِلَّا فِيمَا افْتُرِضَ عَلَيْكُمْ، وَإِنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ أَحَدُكُمْ إِلَّا لِحَى شَجَرَةٍ فَلْيَقْضِمْهُ»
It is narrated from Sayyidah al-Samma' (may Allah be pleased with her) that she heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Do not fast on Saturday except in what has been made obligatory upon you, and if one of you finds nothing except the bark of a tree, let him chew on it."
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ رِشْدِينَ الْمِصْرِيُّ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ، ثنا عَمِّي عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ، حَدَّثَنِي قُرَّةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ ثَوْرِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ بُسْرٍ، عَنْ أُخْتِهِ الصَّمَّاءِ، قَالَتْ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «لَا تَصُومُوا يَوْمَ السَّبْتِ إِلَّا فِيمَا افْتُرِضَ عَلَيْكُمْ صِيَامُهُ، وَمَنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ إِلَّا لِحَى أَوْ غَرْسِ عِنَبٍ فَلْيَمْضُغْهُ»
Sayyidah al-Samma' (may Allah be pleased with her) said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Do not fast on Saturday except in what has been made obligatory upon you to fast, and whoever finds nothing except the bark of a tree or a grapevine, let him chew that."
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ الْقَطَوَانِيُّ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْوَزِيرِ الْوَاسِطِيُّ، قَالَا: ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، أَنَا أَصْبَغُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ ثَوْرِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ بُسْرٍ، عَنْ أُخْتِهِ الصَّمَّاءِ، أَنَّهَا سَمِعَتْ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «لَا تَصُومُوا يَوْمَ السَّبْتِ إِلَّا فِيمَا افْتُرِضَ عَلَيْكُمْ، وَإِنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ أَحَدُكُمْ إِلَّا عُودًا أَوْ لِحَى شَجَرَةٍ فَلْيَمْضُغْهُ» ،
It is narrated from Sayyidah al-Samma' (may Allah be pleased with her) that she heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Do not fast on Saturday except in what has been made obligatory upon you, and if one of you finds nothing except a twig or the bark of a tree, let him chew on it."
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، ثنا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلَانَ، ثنا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُوسَى، ح قَالَ: الْحَضْرَمِيُّ: وَحَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ قَزَعَةَ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ حَبِيبٍ، قَالَا: ثنا ثَوْرُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ بُسْرٍ، عَنْ أُخْتِهِ الصَّمَّاءِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِثْلَهُ
A similar hadith is narrated from Sayyidah al-Samma' (may Allah be pleased with her) from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ عِيسَى بْنِ الْمُنْذِرِ الْحِمْصِيُّ، ثنا أَبِي، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، عَنِ الزُّبَيْدِيِّ، عَنْ فُضَيْلِ بْنِ فَضَالَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ بُسْرٍ، عَنْ خَالَتِهِ، قَالَتْ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «لَا تَصُومُوا يَوْمَ السَّبْتِ إِلَّا فِيمَا افْتَرَضَ اللهُ عَلَيْكُمْ»
The maternal aunt (may Allah be pleased with her) of Abdullah bin Busr (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Do not fast on Saturday except in what Allah has made obligatory upon you."
