The narrator said: I heard Sayyidah Asma' bint Yazid (may Allah be pleased with her) say: One day the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came into the mosque while a group of women were sitting. He (peace and blessings be upon him) waved his right hand in greeting and smiled at them, and said: "Beware of ingratitude for blessings." A woman said: "O Messenger of Allah! I seek refuge with Allah from ingratitude for the blessings of Allah." He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The marriage of one of you is delayed, then Allah grants her a husband, and grants her from him children and the coolness of the eyes; then at some point she becomes angry and swears by Allah, saying: 'I have never seen a single moment of good from him.' This is ingratitude for the blessings of Allah, this is ingratitude for the blessings of Allah, this is ingratitude for the blessings of Allah."
