حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ رُفَيْعٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْقِبْطِيَّةِ، قَالَ: دَخَلَ الْحَارِثُ بْنُ أَبِي رَبِيعَةَ وَعَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ صَفْوَانَ عَلَى أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ وَأَنَا مَعَهُمَا فَسَأَلَاهَا عَنِ الْجَيْشِ الَّذِي يُخْسَفُ بِهِ، وَكَانَ ذَلِكَ فِي زَمَانِ ابْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، فَقَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «يَعُوذُ عَائِذٌ بِالْبَيْتِ، فَيَبْعَثُ اللهُ بَعْثًا فَإِذَا كَانُوا بِبَيْدَاءَ مِنَ الْأَرْضِ خُسِفَ بِهِمْ» ، قَالَتْ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ يُخْسَفُ بِمَنْ كَانَ كَارِهًا، قَالَ: «يُخْسَفُ بِهِ مَعَهُمْ، وَلَكِنَّهُ يُبْعَثُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ عَلَى نِيَّتِهِ»
Ubaydullah bin al-Qibtiyyah relates: Al-Harith bin Abi Rabi'ah and Abdullah bin Safwan went in to Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her), and I was with them. They asked her about the army that will be swallowed up by the earth, and this was in the time of Ibn al-Zubayr (may Allah be pleased with them both). She said: the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "One seeking refuge will take refuge in the House (the Ka'bah), and Allah will send an army; when they reach al-Bayda', they will be swallowed up by the earth." She said: O Messenger of Allah! Will the one among them who was unwilling also be swallowed up? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "He will be swallowed up along with them, but on the Day of Resurrection he will be raised according to his intention."
حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي يُونُسَ الْبَاهِلِيِّ، عَنِ الْمُهَاجِرِ الْمَكِّيِّ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ قَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «يَغْزُو جَيْشٌ هَذَا الْبَيْتَ حَتَّى إِذَا كَانُوا بِبَيْدَاءَ مِنَ الْأَرْضِ خُسِفَ بِهِمْ» ، قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَرَأَيْتَ الْمُكْرَهُ، فقَالَ: «يُبْعَثُ عَلَى نِيَّتِهِ»
Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "An army will attack this House, until, when they reach al-Bayda', they will be swallowed up by the earth." I said: O Messenger of Allah! What about the one who is coerced? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "He will be raised according to his intention."
