حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ الْهَاشِمِيُّ، ثنا ابْنُ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ زَيْنَبَ بِنْتِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ قَالَتْ: دَخَلَتْ أُمُّ سُلَيْمٍ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَتْ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ هَلْ عَلَى الْمَرْأَةِ مِنْ غُسْلٍ إِذَا احْتَلَمَتْ؟، فَقَالَ: «نَعَمْ إِذَا رَأَتِ الْمَاءَ»
It is narrated from Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her); she said: Sayyidah Umm Sulaym (may Allah be pleased with her) came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: "O Messenger of Allah, is it necessary for a woman to take a ritual bath (ghusl) when she has a wet dream?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Yes, when she sees a trace of the fluid."
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيٌّ، ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ الْهَاشِمِيُّ، ثنا ابْنُ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ زَيْنَبَ بِنْتِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، قَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِنَّمَا أَنَا بَشَرٌ وَإِنَّكُمْ تَخْتَصِمُونَ إِلَيَّ وَلَعَلَّ بَعْضَكُمْ أَنْ يَكُونَ هُوَ أَلْحَنَ بِحُجَّتِهِ مِنْ بَعْضٍ فَأَقْضِي لَهُ عَلَى مَا أَسْمَعُ، فَمَنْ قَضَيْتُ لَهُ شَيْئًا مِنْ حَقِّ أَخِيهِ فَلَا يَأْخُذْ مِنْهُ شَيْئًا، فَإِنَّمَا أَقْطَعُ لَهُ قِطْعَةً مِنَ النَّارِ»
It is narrated from Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I am only a human being, and you bring your disputes to me. Perhaps one of you is more eloquent in presenting his argument than another, so I judge according to what I hear. So if I grant someone something of his brother's right, let him not take any of it, for in fact I have given him a piece of the Fire."
