باب تأويل قول الله عز وجل إن الذين جاءوا بالإفك

حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْغَنِيِّ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الصَّنْعَانِيُّ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، وَعَنْ مُقَاتِلِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنِ الضَّحَّاكِ بْنِ مُزَاحِمٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، {إِنَّ الَّذِينَ جَاءُوا بِالْإِفْكِ عُصْبَةٌ مِنْكُمْ} «يُرِيدُ جَاءُوا بِالْكَذِبِ عَلَى عَائِشَةَ أَرْبَعَةٌ مِنْكُمْ»
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: "Indeed, those who brought the slander are a group from among you" means that those who brought the lie against Sayyidah Aishah were four people from among you.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ الْفِرْيَابِيُّ، ثنا وَرْقَاءُ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، فِي قَوْلِهِ {إِنَّ الَّذِينَ جَاءُوا بِالْإِفْكِ عُصْبَةٌ مِنْكُمْ} ، قَالَ: «أَصْحَابُ عَائِشَةَ»
Mujahid said concerning this verse: "Indeed, those who brought the slander are a group from among you" — he said: (It refers to) the people involved in the affair (of the accusation) of Sayyidah Aishah.
حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ أَبِي الطَّاهِرِ بْنِ السَّرْحِ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ، ثنا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، {إِنَّ الَّذِينَ جَاءُوا بِالْإِفْكِ} يَعْنِي: «بِالْكَذِبِ» ، {عُصْبَةٌ مِنْكُمْ} [النور: ١١] يَعْنِي: «عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ أُبَيٍّ ابْنَ سَلُولَ الْمُنَافِقَ، وَحَسَّانَ بْنَ ثَابِتٍ، وَمِسْطَحَ بْنَ أُثَاثَةَ، وَحَمْنَةَ بِنْتَ جَحْشٍ»
Sa'id bin Jubayr said: "Indeed, those who brought the slander" — meaning the lie — "are a group from among you" [Surah An-Nur: 11] — meaning the hypocrite Abdullah bin Ubayy bin Salul, Hassan bin Thabit, Mistah bin Uthathah and Hamnah bint Jahsh.
حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ صَالِحٍ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ، ثنا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ النَّرْسِيُّ، ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ، ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، فِي قَوْلِهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ {إِنَّ الَّذِينَ جَاءُوا بِالْإِفْكِ} يَعْنِي: الْكَذِبَ، قَالَ: «هَذَا فِي شَأْنِ عَائِشَةَ أُمِّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَفِيمَا أُذِيعَ عَلَيْهَا وَقِيلَ لَهَا»
Qatadah said concerning this verse: "Indeed, those who brought the slander" — meaning the lie — this verse is about the affair of Sayyidah Aishah, the Mother of the Believers, and about what was spread and said about her.
