It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sabrah bin Abi Sabrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that his father, Sayyiduna Abu Sabrah al-Ju'fi (may Allah be pleased with him), came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). He (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: "Who are your children?" He said: Abd al-Uzza, Sabrah and al-Harith. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not name him Abd al-Uzza; name him Abdullah, for the best names are Abdullah, Ubaydullah, al-Harith and Hammam." And he (peace and blessings be upon him) supplicated for his children, and they have remained in honour to this day.
