حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، ثنا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ، ثَنا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَنْبَسٍ، يُحَدِّثُ، عَنْ وَائِلٍ الْحَضْرَمِيِّ، أَنَّهُ صَلَّى خَلْفَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَلَمَّا قَالَ: " {وَلَا الضَّالِّينَ} [الفاتحة: ٧] قَالَ: «آمِينَ» فَأَخْفَى بِهَا صَوْتَهُ، وَوَضَعَ يَدَهُ الْيُمْنَى عَلَى يَدِهِ الْيُسْرَى وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ، وَعَنْ يَسَارِهِ "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Wa'il al-Hadrami (may Allah be pleased with him) that he prayed behind the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). When he recited "nor of those who go astray" [Surah al-Fatihah: 7], he said "Amin" and kept his voice low with it. He placed his right hand on his left hand, and gave the salam to the right and to the left.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ، ثنا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ نُصَيْرٍ، ثَنا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ حُجْرَ أَبَا الْعَنْبَسِ يُحَدِّثُ، عَنْ وَائِلٍ الْحَضْرَمِيِّ، أَنَّهُ صَلَّى مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حِينَ قَالَ: " {وَلَا الضَّالِّينَ} [الفاتحة: ٧] قَالَ: «آمِينَ» وَأَخْفَى بِهَا صَوْتَهُ، ثُمَّ وَضَعَ يَدَهُ الْيُمْنَى عَلَى يَدِهِ الْيُسْرَى، وَجَعَلَهَا عَلَى بَطْنِهِ، وَكَانَ إِذَا قَالَ: «سَمِعَ اللهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ» قَالَ: «اللهُمَّ رَبَّنَا لَكَ الْحَمْدُ» وَيُسَلِّمُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعَنْ يَسَارِهِ تَسْلِيمَتَيْنِ "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Wa'il al-Hadrami (may Allah be pleased with him) that he prayed with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). When he recited "nor of those who go astray," he said "Amin" and kept his voice low. Then he placed his right hand on his left hand and placed them on his stomach. When he said "Sami'a Allahu liman hamidah" (Allah hears the one who praises Him), he would say: "O Allah, our Lord, to You belongs all praise." And he would give the salam twice, to the right and to the left.
حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ الرَّقِّيُّ قَالَ: ثنا قَبِيصَةُ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، ومُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ التَّمَّارُ قَالَا: ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ قَالَا: ثنا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ، عَنْ حُجْرِ بْنِ الْعَنْبَسِ الْحَضْرَمِيِّ، عَنْ وَائِلِ بْنِ حُجْرٍ الْحَضْرَمِيِّ قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا قَالَ: " {وَلَا الضَّالِّينَ} [الفاتحة: ٧] قَالَ: «آمِينَ» يَرْفَعُ بِهَا صَوْتَهُ "
Sayyiduna Wa'il bin Hujr al-Hadrami (may Allah be pleased with him) said: When the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) recited "nor of those who go astray," he would say "Amin," raising his voice with it.
حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ قَالَ: ثنا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الْعَنْبَسِ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ وَائِلٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ: صَلَّيْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَسَمِعْتُهُ حِينَ قَالَ: " {وَلَا الضَّالِّينَ} [الفاتحة: ٧] قَالَ: «آمِينَ» وَيَخْفِضُ بِهَا صَوْتَهُ وَوَضَعَ يَدَهُ الْيُمْنَى عَلَى الْيُسْرَى، وَيُسَلِّمْ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعَنْ يَسَارِهِ "
Sayyiduna Wa'il (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I prayed with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and I heard him, when he recited "nor of those who go astray," say "Amin," keeping his voice low with it. He placed his right hand on the left, and gave the salam to the right and to the left.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ، ثنا الْأَزْرَقُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، ثنا حَسَّانُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ بْنُ كُهَيْلٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي السَّكَنِ حُجْرِ بْنِ عَنْبَسٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ وَائِلَ بْنَ حُجْرٍ الْحَضْرَمِيَّ يَقُولُ: «رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُسَلِّمُ حَتَّى رَأَيْتُ بَيَاضَ خَدِّهِ مِنْ ذَا الْجَانِبِ، وَمِنْ ذَا الْجَانِبِ»
Sayyiduna Wa'il bin Hujr al-Hadrami (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) giving the salam until I saw the whiteness of his cheek from this side and from that side.
حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ صَالِحٍ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ مِنْدَهِ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ، وَعَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ صَالِحٍ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ، عَنْ حُجْرِ بْنِ عَنْبَسٍ، عَنْ وَائِلٍ قَالَ: «صَلَّيْتُ خَلْفَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَجَهَرَ بِآمِينَ، وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ، وَعَنْ شِمَالِهِ حَتَّى رَأَيْتُ بَيَاضَ خَدِّهِ»
Sayyiduna Wa'il (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I prayed behind the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). He said "Amin" aloud, and gave the salam to the right and to the left until I saw the whiteness of his cheek.
حَدَّثَنَا أَسْلَمُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو الشَّعْثَاءِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ، ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ قَيْسٍ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ وَائِلٍ الْحَضْرَمِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ: «صَلَّيْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَسَلَّمَ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ، وَعَنْ يَسَارِهِ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ» هَكَذَا رَوَاهُ مُوسَى بْنُ قَيْسٍ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ قَالَ: عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ وَائِلٍ وَزَادَ فِي السَّلَامِ: وَبَرَكَاتُهُ
Sayyiduna Wa'il al-Hadrami (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I prayed with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). He gave the salam to the right saying "As-salamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh," and to the left saying "As-salamu alaykum wa rahmatullah."
