It is narrated from Sayyiduna Wa'il bin Hujr (may Allah be pleased with him); he said: I came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "This is Wa'il bin Hujr who has come to you. He has not come out of desire nor out of fear; rather, he has come out of love for Allah and His Messenger." He (peace and blessings be upon him) spread out his cloak for him, seated him at his side and drew him close, then took him up onto the pulpit with him and addressed the people. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said to his Companions: "Be gentle with him, for he has only recently come from kingship." I said: My family have seized what belongs to me. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I will give you that, and double it." Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to me: "O Wa'il bin Hujr, when you pray, place your hands level with your ears, and a woman places her hands level with her chest."
