حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُوسَى، ثنا ابْنُ الْأَصْبَهَانِيِّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ مَعْقِلِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «أَفْطَرَ الْحَاجِمُ، وَالْمَحْجُومُ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ma'qil bin Yasar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The fast of both the one who performs cupping and the one on whom cupping is performed is broken."
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ، ثنا أَبُو مُوسَى مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ، ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ، ثنا عَطَاءُ بْنُ السَّائِبِ، قَالَ: شَهِدَ عِنْدِي نَفَرٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْبَصْرَةِ - مِنْهُمُ الْحَسَنُ - عَلَى مَعْقِلِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَتَى عَلَى رَجُلٍ وَهُوَ يَحْتَجِمُ وَهُوَ صَائِمٌ، فَقَالَ: «أَفْطَرَ الْحَاجِمُ، وَالْمَحْجُومُ»
Ata' bin al-Sa'ib (may Allah have mercy on him) said: A group of the people of Basrah - among them al-Hasan (al-Basri) - testified before me concerning Sayyiduna Ma'qil bin Yasar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came upon a man who was being cupped while he was fasting, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The one who cups and the one who is cupped have both broken their fast."
