حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَبَّاسِ الْمُؤَدِّبُ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ الْعِجْلِيُّ، ثنا إِسْرَائِيلُ، عَنْ أَبِي حُصَيْنٍ، عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ هِلَالٍ، عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ، قَالَ: كُنْتُ رِدْفَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ لِي: «يَا مُعَاذُ، تَدْرِي مَا حَقُّ اللهِ عَلَى الْعِبَادِ؟» قُلْتُ: اللهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَعْلَمُ، قَالَ: «يَعْبُدُونَهُ وَلَا يُشْرِكُونَ بِهِ شَيْئًا» ثُمَّ قَالَ لِي: «يَا مُعَاذُ، وَمَا حَقُّ الْعِبَادِ عَلَى اللهِ إِذَا فَعَلُوا ذَلِكَ؟» قُلْتُ: اللهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَعْلَمُ، قَالَ: «أَنْ لَا يُعَذِّبَهُمْ»
Al-Aswad bin Hilal (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates from Sayyiduna Mu'adh bin Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: I was riding behind the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said to me: "O Mu'adh, do you know what the right of Allah upon His servants is?" I said: Allah and His Messenger know best. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "That they worship Him and do not associate anything with Him." Then he said to me: "O Mu'adh, and what is the right of the servants upon Allah if they do that?" I said: Allah and His Messenger know best. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "That He does not punish them."
حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ هَارُونَ، ثنا مُحْرِزُ بْنُ عَوْنٍ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلَوِيَّةَ الْقَطَّانُ، ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عِيسَى الْعَطَّارُ قَالَا: ثنا خَلَفُ بْنُ خَلِيفَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي مَالِكٍ الْأَشْجَعِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي حُصَيْنٍ، عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ هِلَالٍ، عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ، قَالَ: كُنْتُ رِدْفَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى حِمَارٍ، فَقَالَ لِي: «يَا مُعَاذُ بْنَ جَبَلٍ، مَا حَقُّ اللهِ عَلَى الْعِبَادِ؟» قُلْتُ: اللهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَعْلَمُ قَالَ: «أَنْ يَعْبُدُوهُ وَلَا يُشْرِكُوا بِهِ شَيْئًا» ثُمَّ قَالَ لِي: «يَا مُعَاذُ، مَا حَقُّ الْعِبَادِ عَلَى اللهِ إِذَا فَعَلُوا ذَلِكَ؟» قُلْتُ: اللهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَعْلَمُ، قَالَ: «أَنْ لَا يُعَذِّبَهُمْ»
Al-Aswad bin Hilal (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates from Sayyiduna Mu'adh bin Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: I was riding behind the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) on a donkey, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said to me: "O Mu'adh bin Jabal, what is the right of Allah upon His servants?" I said: Allah and His Messenger know best. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "That they worship Him and do not associate anything with Him." Then he said to me: "O Mu'adh, and what is the right of the servants upon Allah if they do that?" I said: Allah and His Messenger know best. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "That He does not punish them."
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ نَاجِيَةَ، ثنا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلَانَ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ، ثنا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُوسَى السِّينَانِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعْدٍ الْبَقَّالِ، عَنْ أَبِي حُصَيْنٍ، عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ هِلَالٍ، عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «يَا مُعَاذُ، تَدْرِي مَا حَقُّ اللهِ عَلَى الْعَبِيدِ؟» قُلْتُ: اللهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَعْلَمُ قَالَ: «أَنْ تَعْبُدُوهُ وَلَا تُشْرِكُوا بِهِ شَيْئًا، هَلْ تَدْرِي مَا حَقُّ الْعِبَادِ عَلَى اللهِ إِذَا فَعَلُوا ذَلِكَ؟ أَنْ لَا يُعَذِّبَهُمْ»
Al-Aswad bin Hilal (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates from Sayyiduna Mu'adh bin Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Mu'adh, do you know what the right of Allah upon His servants is?" I said: Allah and His Messenger know best. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "That you worship Him and do not associate anything with Him. Do you know what the right of the servants upon Allah is if they do that? That He does not punish them."
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ أَبِي حُصَيْنٍ، عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ هِلَالٍ، عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ، قَالَ: كُنْتُ رِدْفَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ: «يَا مُعَاذُ، هَلْ تَدْرِي مَا حَقُّ اللهِ عَلَى الْعِبَادِ؟» فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ
Al-Aswad bin Hilal (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates from Sayyiduna Mu'adh bin Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: I was riding behind the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Mu'adh, do you know what the right of Allah upon His servants is?" Then the narrator mentioned the full hadith in the same way.
