Sayyiduna Mu'adh bin Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "There are three things; whoever does them has committed a crime: whoever raises a banner unjustly, or is disobedient to his parents, or walks along with an oppressor, has committed a crime. Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, says: 'Indeed, We will take retribution from the criminals' (Surah al-Sajdah: 22)."

It is narrated from Junadah bin Abi Umayyah (may Allah have mercy on him) that some people came to Sayyiduna Mu'adh bin Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him) while he was ill, and they said: Narrate to us a hadith that you heard from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), which you have not forgotten and about which you have no doubt. He said: Sit me up. So some of the people took hold of his hand and some sat behind him, and he said: I will certainly narrate to you a hadith that I heard from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), which I have not forgotten and about which I have no doubt. I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "There has been no prophet but that he warned his people about the Dajjal, and I warn you about the matter of the Dajjal. He is one-eyed, and indeed my Lord is not one-eyed. Between his eyes will be written: 'Kafir (disbeliever)', which both the literate and the illiterate will read. With him will be a Paradise and a Fire; his Fire will (in reality) be Paradise, and his Paradise will be Fire."
