حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ أَبِي النَّجُودِ، عَنْ ذَكْوَانَ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: «مَنْ شَرِبَ الْخَمْرَ فَاجْلِدُوهُ» قَالَهَا ثَلَاثًا، «فَإِذَا شَرِبُوا الرَّابِعَةَ فَاقْتُلُوهُمْ»
Dhakwan (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates from Sayyiduna Mu'awiyah bin Abi Sufyan (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever drinks wine, flog him." He (peace and blessings be upon him) said this three times. "Then if they drink a fourth time, kill them."
حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ عِمْرَانَ السَّدُوسِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو سَلَمَةَ يَحْيَى بْنُ خَلَفٍ الْجُوبَارِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ بَهْدَلَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: «إِذَا شَرِبَ الْخَمْرَ فَاجْلِدُوهُ» ، قَالَ عِنْدَ الرَّابِعَةِ: «فَاقْتُلُوهُ»
Abu Salih (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates from Sayyiduna Mu'awiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When someone drinks wine, flog him," and concerning the fourth time he said: "Then kill him."
حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثنا يَحْيَى الْحِمَّانِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «مَنْ مَاتَ وَلَيْسَ فِي عُنُقِهِ بَيْعَةٌ مَاتَ مَيْتَةً جَاهِلِيَّةً»
Abu Salih (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates from Sayyiduna Mu'awiyah (may Allah be pleased with him); he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Whoever dies while there is no pledge of allegiance (bay'ah) on his neck dies the death of Jahiliyyah (pre-Islamic ignorance)."
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ الْمِنْهَالِ، ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ بَهْدَلَةَ، عَنْ ذَكْوَانَ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ، قَالَ: " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا سَمِعَ الْمُؤَذِّنَ يَقُولُ اللهُ أَكْبَرُ قَالَ مِثْلَ قَوْلِهِ، فَإِذَا قَالَ: أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ قَالَ مِثْلَ قَوْلِهِ، فَإِذَا قَالَ: أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللهِ مَرَّتَيْنِ قَالَ: مِثْلَ قَوْلِهِ "
Dhakwan (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates from Sayyiduna Mu'awiyah bin Abi Sufyan (may Allah be pleased with him); he said: When the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) heard the mu'adhdhin say "Allahu akbar" (Allah is the Greatest), he would say the same; when he said "Ashhadu an la ilaha illallah" (I bear witness that there is no god but Allah), he (peace and blessings be upon him) would also say the same; and when he said "Ashhadu anna Muhammadan rasulullah" (I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah) twice, he (peace and blessings be upon him) would also say the same.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الْقَزَّازُ الْبَصْرِيُّ، ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، ثنا أَبَانُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ، وَبِلَالٌ يُؤَذِّنُ، فَلَمَّا قَالَ: اللهُ أَكْبَرُ اللهُ أَكْبَرُ، قَالَ نَبِيُّ اللهِ: «اللهُ أَكْبَرُ اللهُ أَكْبَرُ» ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ، قَالَ نَبِيُّ اللهِ: «أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ» ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللهِ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِثْلَهَا، ثُمَّ صَمَتَ
Abu Salih (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates from Sayyiduna Mu'awiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) while Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) was calling the adhan. When he said "Allahu akbar, Allahu akbar," the Prophet of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allahu akbar, Allahu akbar." Then he said: "Ashhadu an la ilaha illallah" (I bear witness that there is no god but Allah), and the Prophet of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Ashhadu an la ilaha illallah." Then he said: "Ashhadu anna Muhammadan rasulullah" (I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah), and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said the same, then fell silent.
