حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ كُرْزِ بْنِ عَلْقَمَةَ الْخُزَاعِيِّ، قَالَ: قَالَ أَعْرَابِيٌّ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ هَلْ لِلْإِسْلَامِ مُنْتَهًى؟، قَالَ: «نَعَمْ، أَيُّمَا أَهْلُ بَيْتٍ مِنَ الْعَرَبِ أَوِ الْعَجَمِ أَرَادَ اللهُ بِهِمْ خَيْرًا أَدْخَلَ عَلَيْهِمُ الْإِسْلَامَ» ، قَالَ: ثُمَّ مَاذَا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟، قَالَ: «ثُمَّ تَقَعُ فِتَنٌ كَأَنَّهَا اللَّيْلُ» ، قَالَ: فَقَالَ الْأَعْرَابِيُّ: كَلَّا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «كَلَّا وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ، لَيَقُودَنَّ فِيهَا أَسَاوِدُ صِبًا يَضْرِبُ بَعْضُكُمْ رِقَابَ بَعْضٍ» .

Sayyiduna Kurz bin Alqamah al-Khuza'i (may Allah be pleased with him) said: A Bedouin said: O Messenger of Allah, does Islam have an end point? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Yes. Whether Arab or non-Arab, any household for which Allah wills good, He brings into Islam." He said: Then what will happen, O Messenger of Allah? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Then tribulations will occur as though they were the darkness of night." The Bedouin said: Certainly not, O Messenger of Allah! The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Certainly so! By the One in whose Hand is my soul, in those tribulations people stirring up strife like black serpents will take the lead; some of you will strike the necks of others."

حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُوسَى، ثنا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ، وَحَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ، ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ الرَّمَادِيُّ، قَالُوا: ثنا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ كُرْزِ بْنِ عَلْقَمَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَحْوَهُ

حَدَّثَنَا مُطَّلِبُ بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ، حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ خَالِدِ بْنِ مُسَافِرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، أَنَّ كُرْزَ بْنَ عَلْقَمَةَ الْخُزَاعِيَّ، قَالَ: بَيْنَمَا أَنَا جَالِسٌ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذْ جَاءَهُ رَجُلٌ مِنَ الْأَعْرَابِ، فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ هَلْ لِلْإِسْلَامِ مُنْتَهًى؟، قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «نَعَمْ، أَيُّمَا أَهْلُ بَيْتٍ مِنَ الْعَرَبِ أَوِ الْعَجَمِ أَرَادَ اللهُ بِهِمْ خَيْرًا أَدْخَلَ عَلَيْهِمُ الْإِسْلَامَ» ، قَالَ الْأَعْرَابِيُّ: ثُمَّ مَاذَا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟، قَالَ: «ثُمَّ تَقَعُ الْفِتَنُ كَأَنَّهَا الظُّلَلُ» ، قَالَ الْأَعْرَابِيُّ: كَلَّا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، قَالَ: رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لَتَعُودُنَّ فِيهَا أَسَاوِدَ صِبًا يَضْرِبُ بَعْضُكُمْ رِقَابَ بَعْضٍ»

Sayyiduna Kurz bin Alqamah al-Khuza'i (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I was sitting with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) when a man from the Bedouins came and said: O Messenger of Allah, does Islam have an end point? The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Yes. Whether Arab or non-Arab, any household for which Allah wills good, He brings into Islam." The Bedouin said: Then what will happen, O Messenger of Allah? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Then tribulations will occur like canopies (of cloud)." The Bedouin said: Certainly not, O Messenger of Allah! The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "By the One in whose Hand is my soul, in them you will become like black serpents striking (at one another); some of you will strike the necks of others."

حَدَّثَنَا مُطَّلِبُ بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، حَدَّثَنِي الْهِقْلُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ، حَدَّثَنِي مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، حَدَّثَنِي الزُّهْرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي عُرْوَةُ بْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ، أَنَّ كُرْزَ بْنَ عَلْقَمَةَ الْخُزَاعِيَّ، قَالَ: بَيْنَمَا أَنَا جَالِسٌ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذْ جَاءَهُ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَعْرَابِ نَجْدٍ، قَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ هَلْ لِلْإِسْلَامِ مُنْتَهًى؟، قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «نَعَمْ، أَيُّمَا أَهْلُ بَيْتٍ مِنَ الْعَرَبِ أَوِ الْعَجَمِ أَرَادَ اللهُ بِهِمْ خَيْرًا أَدْخَلَ عَلَيْهِمُ الْإِسْلَامَ» ، قَالَ الْأَعْرَابِيُّ: ثُمَّ مَاذَا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟، قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «ثُمَّ تَقَعُ الْفِتَنُ كَأَنَّهَا الظُّلَلُ» ، قَالَ الْأَعْرَابِيُّ: كَلَّا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ تَعُودُونَ فِيهَا أَسَاوِدَ صِبًا يَضْرِبُ بَعْضُكُمْ رِقَابَ بَعْضٍ» .
