حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي نُعَيْمٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ، ثنا زِيَادُ بْنُ أَبِي زِيَادٍ الْجَصَّاصُ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ قُرَّةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: أَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَمَسَسْتُ الْخَاتَمَ الَّذِي بَيْنَ كَتِفَيْهِ، وَقَبَّلْتُ يَدَيْهِ ثُمَّ جِئْتُ، فَقَالَ: «مِمَّنْ أَنْتَ؟» ، قُلْتُ مِنْ مُزَيْنَةَ
Sayyiduna Qurrah bin Iyas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), touched the Seal of Prophethood between his (peace and blessings be upon him) shoulders and kissed both his (peace and blessings be upon him) hands, then I came back. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Which tribe are you from?" I said: From Muzaynah.
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي نُعَيْمٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ الْجَصَّاصُ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ قُرَّةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سُئِلَ عَنِ الْأَوْعِيَةِ؟، فَقَالَ: «إِنَّ الْأَوْعِيَةَ لَا تُحَرِّمُ شَيْئًا فَانْتَبِذُوا فِيمَا بَدَا لَكُمْ، وَاجْتَنِبُوا كُلَّ مُسْكِرٍ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Qurrah bin Iyas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked about the vessels (for keeping nabidh), and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Vessels do not make anything unlawful, so make nabidh in whatever vessel you wish, and avoid every intoxicant."
