حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ هَارُونَ، ثنا خَلَّادُ بْنُ أَسْلَمَ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الدَّرَاوَرْدِيُّ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنِ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: «رَدِفْتُ خَلْفَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ غَدَاةَ جَمْعٍ، فَلَمْ يَزَلْ يُلَبِّي حَتَّى رَمَى جَمْرَةَ الْعَقَبَةِ»
Sayyiduna al-Fadl bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I rode behind the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) on the morning of Muzdalifah, and he continued reciting the Talbiyah until he stoned Jamrat al-Aqabah.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبَانَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ، ثنا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ كَاسِبٍ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنْ أَخِيهِ الْفَضْلِ، أَخْبَرَهُ قَالَ: كُنْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَتَّى أَتَى عَرَفَةَ فِي حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ، فَلَمَّا نَفَرَ النَّاسُ قَالَ لِلنَّاسِ: «أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ عَلَى رِسْلِكُمْ بِالسَّكِينَةِ، فَإِنَّ الْبِرَّ لَيْسَ بِالْإِيضَاعِ»
Sayyiduna al-Fadl bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I was with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) when he came to Arafah during the Farewell Hajj. When the people began to set off, he (peace and blessings be upon him) said to the people: "O people! (Go) with calm and tranquillity, for righteousness does not lie in hurrying."
