Abu Qatadah (may Allah have mercy on him) said: We went in to Sayyiduna Imran bin Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him), and Bushayr bin Ka'b was with us. Sayyiduna Imran (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Modesty (haya') is good, all of it." Bushayr bin Ka'b said: O Abu Nujayd, we find in some books that part of it is tranquillity and dignity, and part of it is weakness. So Sayyiduna Imran (may Allah be pleased with him) repeated the hadith, and Bushayr repeated the same words back to him. At that Sayyiduna Imran (may Allah be pleased with him) became angry until both his cheeks turned red, and he said: "I narrate to you from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and you oppose me with books?" So we said: O Abu Nujayd, he is a man from the household.
