حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ قَالَا: ثنا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ الْحُصَيْنِ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا كَانَ لَهُ سِتَّةَ أَعْبُدٍ فَأَعْتَقَهُمْ عِنْدَ مَوْتِهِ، «فَأَقْرَعَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَيْنَهُمْ فَأَعْتَقَ اثْنَيْنِ وَأَرَقَّ أَرْبَعَةً»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Imran bin Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man had six slaves and he freed them at the time of his death. "So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) cast lots between them, freed two and kept four in slavery."
حَدَّثَنَا أَسْلَمُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبَانَ، ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَعْتَقَ سِتَّةَ أَعْبُدٍ فَجَاءَ وَرَثَتُهُ فَلَمْ يَجِدُوا شَيْئًا، فَأَتَوْا رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَأَخْبَرُوهُ، فَقَالَ: «لَوْ عَلِمْتُ ذَاكَ إِنْ شَاءَ اللهُ مَا صَلَّيْتُ عَلَيْهِ» ، فَأَقْرَعَ بَيْنَهُمْ، فَأَعْتَقَ اثْنَيْنِ، وَاسْتَرَقَّ أَرْبَعَةً
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Imran bin Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man freed six slaves, then his heirs came and found nothing, so they came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and informed him (peace and blessings be upon him). He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Had I known this, then, if Allah willed, I would not have led his funeral prayer." Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) cast lots between them, freed two and made four slaves.
حَدَّثَنَا الْهَيْثَمُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الْمِصِّيصِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِيسَى الطَّبَّاعُ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الْمُقَدَّمِيُّ قَالَا: ثنا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَعْتَقَ أَعْبُدًا لَهُ سِتَّةً عِنْدَ مَوْتِهِ فَجَاءَ وَرَثَتُهُ مِنَ الْأَعْرَابِ، فَأَخْبَرُوا رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِمَا صَنَعَ، فَقَالَ: «وَلِمَ فَعَلَ ذَلِكَ؟» فَأَقْرَعَ بَيْنَهُمْ فَعَتَقَ اثْنَيْنِ وَرَدَّ أَرْبَعَةً فِي الرِّقِّ "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Imran bin Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man freed his six slaves at the time of his death, so his Bedouin heirs came and informed the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) of what he had done. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Why did he do that?" Then he cast lots between them, freed two and returned four to slavery.
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ زُهَيْرٍ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ كَرَامَةَ، ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُوسَى، عَنْ حَسَنِ بْنِ صَالِحٍ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ قَالَ: أَعْتَقَ رَجُلٌ سِتَّةَ غِلْمَةٍ لَهُ عِنْدَ مَوْتِهِ، فَأَتَى فِيهِمُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، «فَقَرَعَ بَيْنَهُمْ، فَقَرَعَ اثْنَانِ مِنْهُمْ، فَأَعْتَقَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اللَّذَيْنِ قَرَعَا وَأَرَقَّ أَرْبَعَةً»
Sayyiduna Imran bin Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) said: A man freed his six slaves at the time of his death, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came concerning their matter. "He (peace and blessings be upon him) cast lots between them and the lot fell on two of them, so the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) freed the two on whom the lot fell and kept four in slavery."
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبَّانَ، حَدَّثَنِي حَفْصُ بْنُ عِمْرَانَ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَا طَاعَةَ لِمَخْلُوقٍ فِي مَعْصِيَةِ اللهِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Imran bin Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There is no obedience to any created being in disobedience to Allah."
