حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «أُنْزِلَ عَلَيَّ آيَاتٌ لَمْ أَسْمَعْ بِمِثْلِهِنِّ أَوْ لَمْ أَرَ مِثْلَهُنَّ الْمُعَوِّذَتَيْنِ»
Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Verses have been revealed to me the like of which I have never heard" (or he said: "the like of which I have never seen"), meaning the Mu'awwidhatayn (Surah al-Falaq and Surah al-Nas).
حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، ثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، ثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، عَنْ قَيْسٍ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «أُنْزِلَ عَلَيَّ آيَاتٌ لَمْ يَنْزِلْ عَلَيَّ مِثْلَهُنَّ قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ وَقُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ»
Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Verses have been revealed to me the like of which have never been revealed to me before: Surah al-Nas and Surah al-Falaq."
حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، ثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، ثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، عَنْ قَيْسٍ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِثْلَهُ
A similar hadith is also narrated from Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him).
حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ، ثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «أُنْزِلَ عَلَيَّ آيَاتٌ لَمْ أَرَ مِثْلَهُنَّ - يَعْنِي الْمُعَوِّذَتَيْنِ -»
Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir al-Juhani (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Verses have been revealed to me the like of which I have never seen", meaning the Mu'awwidhatayn (Surah al-Falaq and Surah al-Nas).
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ، ثَنَا حِبَّانُ بْنُ مُوسَى، وَسُوَيْدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ قَالَ: ثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، عَنْ قَيْسٍ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِثْلَهُ
A similar hadith is also narrated from Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him).
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ، ثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ بَيَانٍ، عَنْ قَيْسٍ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «أُنْزِلَتْ عَلَيَّ اللَّيْلَةَ آيَاتٌ لَمْ يُرَ مِثْلَهُنَّ قَطُّ قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ وَقُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ»
Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Tonight verses have been revealed to me the like of which have never been seen: Surah al-Falaq and Surah al-Nas."
