حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْقَطْرَانِيُّ، ثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ دُرُسْتَ، ثَنَا أَبُو إِسْمَاعِيلَ الْقَنَّادُ، ثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، حَدَّثَنِي بَعْجَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَسَمَ بَيْنَ أَصْحَابِهِ ضَحَايَا فَصَارَتْ لِي جَذَعَةٌ، فَقُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، صَارَتْ لِي جَذَعَةٌ قَالَ: «ضَحِّ بِهَا»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir al-Juhani (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) distributed sacrificial animals among his Companions, and a jadha'ah (a young animal) fell to my share. I said: O Messenger of Allah! A jadha'ah has fallen to my share. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Sacrifice it."
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ، ثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، ثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ الدَّسْتُوَائِيِّ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ بَعْجَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَسَمَ الْأَضَاحِيَّ بَيْنَ أَصْحَابِهِ وَأَصَابَتْنِي جَذَعَةٌ فَقَالَ: «ضَحِّ بِهَا»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) distributed sacrificial animals among his Companions, and a jadha'ah (a young animal) fell to my share. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Sacrifice it."
حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، ثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ الدَّسْتُوَائِيِّ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ يَحْيَى السَّاجِيُّ، ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، ثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ الدَّسْتُوَائِيِّ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، حَدَّثَنِي بَعْجَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْجُهَنِيُّ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ، قَالَ: قَسَمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ضَحَايَا بَيْنَ أَصْحَابِهِ، قَالَ عُقْبَةَ: فَصَارَتْ لِي جَذَعَةٌ فَقُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، صَارَتْ لِي جَذَعَةٌ قَالَ: «ضَحِّ بِهَا»
Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir al-Juhani (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) distributed sacrificial animals among his Companions. Sayyiduna Uqbah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: A jadha'ah (a young animal) fell to my share, so I said: O Messenger of Allah! A jadha'ah has fallen to my share. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Sacrifice it."
