حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثَنَا مُعَلَّى بْنُ أَسَدٍ الْعَمِّيُّ، ثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي خَالِدٍ الْوَالِبِيِّ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ مُقَرِّنٍ، قَالَ: انْتَهَى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى مَجْلِسٍ مِنْ مَجَالِسِ الْأَنْصَارِ وَرَجُلٌ فِيهِمْ قَدْ كَانَ يُعْرَفُ بِالْبَذَّاءِ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «سِبَابُ الْمُسْلِمِ فُسُوقُ وَقِتَالُهُ كُفْرٌ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Amr bin al-Nu'man bin Muqarrin (may Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came to one of the gatherings of the Ansar, among whom was a man well known for foul speech. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Abusing a Muslim is wickedness (fusuq), and fighting him is disbelief (kufr)."
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثَنَا ابْنُ الْأَصْبَهَانِيِّ، ثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ أَبِي خَالِدٍ الْوَالِبِيِّ، عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُقَرِّنٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِنَّ اللهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لَيُؤَيِّدُ الدِّينَ بِالرَّجُلِ الْفَاجِرِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna al-Nu'man bin Amr bin Muqarrin (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, supports the religion even through a wicked man."
