حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الدِّمَشْقِيُّ، وَحَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ الصَّبَّاحِ الرَّقِّيُّ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عُثْمَانَ الْكِلَابِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ أَعْيَنَ، عَنْ مَعْمَرِ بْنِ رَاشِدٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بنِ أَبِي يَعْقُوبَ، عَنْ بِشْرِ بْنِ شَغَافٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ سَلَامٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ نَبِيُّ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «أَنَا سَيِّدُ وَلَدِ آدَمَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَلَا فَخْرَ، وَأَوَّلُ مَنْ تَنْشَقُّ عَنْهُ الْأَرْضُ وَلَا فَخْرَ، وَأَوَّلُ شَافِعٍ، وَمُشَفَّعٍ، لِوَاءُ الْحَمْدِ بِيَدِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ، تَحْتِي آدَمُ فَمَنْ دُونَهُ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Salam (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I am the leader of the children of Adam on the Day of Resurrection, and (I say this) not as a boast; I am the first for whom the earth will split open, and (this too is) not as a boast; and I am the first to intercede and the one whose intercession will be accepted. On the Day of Resurrection the Banner of Praise will be in my hand; beneath me will be Adam and all those below him."
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ طَلْحَةَ الْيَرْبُوعِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا فُضَيْلُ بْنُ عِيَاضٍ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ حَسَّانَ، عَنْ وَاصِلٍ، مَوْلَى أَبِي عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي يَعْقُوبَ، عَنْ بِشْرِ بْنِ شَغَافٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ سَلَامٍ: «إِنَّ أَكْرَمَ خَلِيقَةِ اللهِ عَلَى اللهِ أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ» ، قَالُوا: رَحِمَكَ اللهُ الْمَلَائِكَةَ؟، فَقَالَ: «إِنَّ أَكْرَمَ خَلِيقَةَ اللهِ عَلَى اللهِ أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ»
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Salam (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "The most honoured of Allah's creation in the sight of Allah is Abu al-Qasim (peace and blessings be upon him)." The people said: "May Allah have mercy on you, what about the angels (are they not more honoured)?" He (still) said: "The most honoured of Allah's creation in the sight of Allah is indeed Abu al-Qasim (peace and blessings be upon him)."
حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ نَائِلَةَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْبَجَلِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عُلَيَّةَ، عَنْ مَهْدِيِّ بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي يَعْقُوبَ، عَنْ بِشْرِ بْنِ شَغَافٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ: عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ سَلَامٍ: «إِنَّ أَكْرَمَ الْخَلِيقَةِ عَلَى اللهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ»
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Salam (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "On the Day of Resurrection the most honoured of creation in the sight of Allah will be Abu al-Qasim (peace and blessings be upon him)."
حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ نَائِلَةَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الْمُقَدَّمِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ الثَّقَفِيُّ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شَغَافٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ سَلَامٍ، قَالَ: «وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ إِنَّ أَقْرَبَ النَّاسِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ لَمُحَمَّدٌ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ جَالِسٌ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ عَلَى الْكُرْسِيِّ»
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Salam (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "By the One in whose hand is my soul, on the Day of Resurrection the closest of people will be Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), who will be seated on the Kursi at His (Allah's) right."
