حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا فِطْرُ بْنُ حَمَّادِ بْنِ وَاقِدٍ الصَّفَّارُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، قَالَ: خَطَبَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ، فَقَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، يَقُولُ: «مَنْ لَبِسَ الْحَرِيرَ فِي الدُّنْيَا لَمْ يَلْبَسْهُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ»
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin al-Zubayr (may Allah be pleased with them both) addressed us and said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "Whoever wears silk in this world will not wear it in the Hereafter."
حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ أُسَيْدٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَجُلٌ لِابْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ: أَفْتِنَا فِي نَبِيذِ الْجَرِّ، فَقَالَ: «سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَنْهَى عَنْ نَبِيذِ الْجَرِّ»
A man asked Sayyiduna Abdullah bin al-Zubayr (may Allah be pleased with them both): Give us a ruling about nabidh made in earthenware jars. He said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbidding nabidh made in earthenware jars.
