حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ، ثنا عُمَرُ بْنُ صَالِحِ بْنِ حَمْزَةَ الْوَاسِطِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ عَطِيَّةَ، عَنْ زَيْدٍ الْعَمِّيِّ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ قُرَّةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ أَخَذَ شِبْرًا مِنْ مَكَّةَ بِغَيْرِ حَقِّهِ فَكَأَنَّمَا أَخَذَهُ مِنْ تَحْتِ قَدَمِ الرَّحْمَنِ، وَمَنْ أَخَذَ شَيْئًا مِنْ سَائِرِ الْأَرْضِ بِغَيْرِ حَقِّهِ جَاءَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مُطَوَّقًا فِي عُنُقِهِ مِنْ سَبْعِ أَرَضِينَ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever takes even a handspan of land in Makkah unjustly, it is as though he took it from beneath the foot of the Most Merciful; and whoever takes anything of the rest of the earth unjustly will come on the Day of Resurrection with seven earths hung as a collar around his neck."
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُسَاوِرٍ الْجَوْهَرِيُّ، ثنا عِصْمَةُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ الْخَزَّازُ، ثنا سَلَّامٌ الطَّوِيلُ، عَنْ زَيْدٍ الْعَمِّيِّ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ قُرَّةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " يَقُولُ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: لَسْتُ بِنَاظِرٍ فِي حَقِّ عَبْدِي حَتَّى يَنْظُرَ عَبْدِي فِي حَقِّي "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, says: 'I do not look into the right of My servant until My servant first looks into My right.'"
