حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، ثنا أَبُو شِهَابٍ، عَنِ الْحَجَّاجِ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ الْجَزَّارِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: «صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي فَضَاءٍ مِنَ الْأَرْضِ لَيْسَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ شَيْءٌ»
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed in an open stretch of land, and there was nothing (no sutrah) in front of him (peace and blessings be upon him).
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ، ثنا الْمُطَّلِبُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ، عَنْ لَيْثٍ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ الْجَزَّارِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: «سَهْمُ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الَّذِي أَطْعَمَهُ اللهُ إِيَّاهُ خُمْسُ الْخُمُسِ»
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: The share of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) which Allah granted him was one fifth of the khumus (a fifth of the fifth).
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَبَّاسِ الْمُؤَدِّبُ، ثنا عَوْنُ بْنُ سَلَّامٍ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرٍ النَّهْشَلِيُّ، عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ الْجَزَّارِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «كَانَ يُوتِرُ بِثَلَاثٍ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to pray witr with three rak'ahs.
