Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) broke his fast, he would say: "For You I fasted and with the provision You gave I broke my fast, so accept (this fast) from me; indeed You are the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing."

Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) did not leave us any gold or silver as inheritance, except what is between the two covers (that is, the Qur'an). Then I went to the hilt of his (peace and blessings be upon him) sword and found in the strap of his (peace and blessings be upon him) sword a scroll (a writing) in which was written: "Whoever introduces an innovation (bid'ah), or gives shelter to an innovator, or ascribes his lineage to someone other than his father, or takes as patrons (wala') people other than those who freed him, upon him is the curse of Allah, the angels and all the people."
