حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، ثنا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّهُ جَاءَ مُعَاوِيَةُ فِي مُتْعَةِ الْحَجِّ، فَقَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ: قَدْ فَعَلَهَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that Mu'awiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) (asked) about tamattu' in Hajj, and Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) did it.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَابَانَ الْجُنْدِيسَابُورِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ شَقِيقٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبِي، ثنا أَبُو حَمْزَةَ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: «نَامَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَتَّى سُمِعَ غَطِيطُهُ، ثُمَّ قَامَ فَصَلَّى بِغَيْرِ طَهُورٍ»
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) slept until the sound of his breathing was heard, then he ((peace and blessings be upon him)) prayed without purification.
حَدَّثَنَا الْهَيْثَمُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الْمِصِّيصِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِيسَى الطَّبَّاعُ، ثنا هُشَيْمٌ، أنا جَابِرٌ الْجُعْفِيُّ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ أَبِي جَعْفَرِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَرَجَ وَهُوَ يُرِيدُ الصَّلَاةَ، فَمَرَّ بِقِدْرٍ، فَتَنَاوَلَ مِنْهَا عَظْمًا فَأَكَلَهُ، ثُمَّ مَضَى إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came out intending to pray. On the way he passed by a cooking pot, took a bone (with meat) from it and ate it, then went on to the prayer without performing ablution.
