حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، حَدَّثَنِي مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي عُتْبَةَ الْكِنْدِيُّ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا أُمَامَةَ، يَقُولُ: تُوُفِّيَ رَجُلٌ فِي عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى الله عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمْ، وَتَرَكَ دِينَارَيْنِ دَيْنًا عَلَيْهِ، وَلَيْسَ لَهُ وَفَاءٌ، فَأَبَى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى الله عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمْ أَنْ يُصَلِّيَ عَلَيْهِ، وَقَالَ: «صَلُّوا عَلَى صَاحِبَكُمْ» ، فَقَامَ إِلَيْهِ أَبُو قَتَادَةَ فَقَالَ: أَنَا أَقْضِي عَنْهُ، فَقَامَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى الله عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمْ فَصَلَّى عَلَيْهِ
وَذَكَرَ أَيْضًا أَنَّ رَجُلًا تُوُفِّيَ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى الله عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمْ، وَتَرَكَ دِينَارَيْنِ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى الله عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمْ: «كَيَّتَيْنِ»
وَذَكَرَ أَيْضًا أَنَّ رَجُلًا تُوُفِّيَ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى الله عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمْ، وَتَرَكَ دِينَارَيْنِ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى الله عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمْ: «كَيَّتَيْنِ»
Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: A man died in the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and left a debt of two dinars, and he had nothing with which to pay it. So the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) refused to lead the funeral prayer over him and said: "Pray the funeral prayer over your companion." At this Sayyiduna Abu Qatadah (may Allah be pleased with him) stood up and said: I will pay his debt. So the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) stood up and led the funeral prayer over him.
He also mentioned that a man died in the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and left two dinars, and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Two brands."

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ مَنْدَهِ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عُمَرَ رُسْتَهْ، ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، ثنا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي عُتْبَةَ الْكِنْدِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ الْبَاهِلِيِّ قَالَ: قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، أَتَعْرِفُ أُمَّتَكَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ؟ قَالَ: «نَعَمْ» . قُلْتُ: مَنْ رَأَيْتَ، وَمَنْ لَمْ تَرَ؟ قَالَ: «مَنْ رَأَيْتَ؟، وَمَنْ لَمْ أَرَ؟» . قُلْتُ: بِمَاذَا؟ قَالَ: «غُرٌّ مُحَجَّلُونَ مِنْ آثَارِ الْوُضُوءِ»
Sayyiduna Abu Umamah al-Bahili (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I said: O Messenger of Allah, will you recognise your Ummah on the Day of Resurrection? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Yes." I said: Both those you have seen and those you have not seen? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I will recognise them all, those I have seen and those I have not seen." I said: By what sign? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Their faces, hands and feet will be bright and shining from the traces of ablution."
