حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، ومُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، ح وحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ، ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، قَالُوا: ثنا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ يَعْلَى بْنِ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ حَدِيدٍ، عَنْ صَخْرٍ الْغَامِدِيِّ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى الله عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمْ قَالَ: «اللهُمَّ بَارِكْ لِأُمَّتِي فِي بُكُورِهَا» . وَكَانَ «إِذَا بَعَثَ سَرِيَّةً بَعَثَهَا مِنْ أَوَّلِ النَّهَارِ» وَكَانَ صَخْرٌ رَجُلًا تَاجِرًا، وَكَانَ يَبْعَثُ غِلْمَانَهُ مِنْ أَوَّلِ النَّهَارِ فَكَثُرَ مَالُهُ "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sakhr al-Ghamidi (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Allah! Bless my Ummah in its early mornings." And whenever he (peace and blessings be upon him) sent out a detachment, he sent it at the beginning of the day. Sakhr (may Allah be pleased with him) was a merchant, and he used to send out his servants at the beginning of the day, and so his wealth increased.
حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ح وحَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْخُزَاعِيُّ، ح وحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَائِشَةَ، قَالُوا: ثنا هُشَيْمٌ، عَنْ يَعْلَى بْنِ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ حَدِيدٍ، عَنْ صَخْرٍ الْغَامِدِيِّ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى الله عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمْ مِثْلَهُ
A hadith like it is also narrated from Sayyiduna Sakhr al-Ghamidi (may Allah be pleased with him).
حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْفِرْيَابِيُّ، ثنا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، ثنا حَاتِمُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ يَعْلَى بْنِ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ حَدِيدٍ، عَنْ صَخْرٍ الْغَامِدِيِّ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى الله عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمْ قَالَ: «اللهُمَّ، بَارِكْ لِأُمَّتِي فِي بُكُورِهَا»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sakhr al-Ghamidi (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Allah! Bless my Ummah in its early mornings."
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ الْفِرْيَابِيُّ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ يَعْلَى بْنِ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ حَدِيدٍ، عَنْ صَخْرٍ، وَقَدْ أَدْرَكَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى الله عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمْ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى الله عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمْ: «لَا تَسُبُّوا الْأَمْوَاتَ، فَتُؤْذُوا الْأَحْيَاءَ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sakhr (may Allah be pleased with him) — and he had lived in the time of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) — who said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not revile the dead, for you will hurt the living."
