حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ السَّوْطِيُّ، ثنا عَفَّانُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، ثنا وَهْبُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، ثنا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ الْمُهَلَّبَ بْنَ أَبِي صُفْرَةَ يَخْطُبُ يَقُولُ: قَالَ سَمُرَةُ بْنُ جُنْدُبٍ: عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , قَالَ: «لَا تُصَلُّوا حِينَ تَطْلُعُ الشَّمْسُ، وَلَا حِينَ تَسْقُطُ، فَإِنَّهَا تَسْقُطُ بَيْنَ قَرْنَيْ شَيْطَانٍ، وَتَغِيبُ بَيْنَ قَرْنَيِ الشَّيْطَانِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Samurah bin Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not pray when the sun is rising or when it is setting, for it sets between the two horns of Satan and disappears between the two horns of Satan."
حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ، ثنا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ الْمُهَلَّبَ بْنَ أَبِي صُفْرَةَ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ، قَالَ: «نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يُصَلَّى بَعْدَ الصُّبُحِ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ، فَإِنَّهَا تَطْلُعُ عَلَى قَرْنَيْ شَيْطَانٍ»
Sayyiduna Samurah bin Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) said: the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade praying after Fajr until the sun has risen, for it rises upon the two horns of Satan.
