حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْأَسْفَاطِيُّ، ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، ثنا جَرِيرُ بْنُ حَازِمٍ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ سَلَّامٍ أَبِي شُرَحْبِيلَ، عَنْ حَبَّةَ، وَسَوَاءٍ، ابْنَيْ خَالِدٍ، قَالَا: دَخَلْنَا عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ يُعَالِجُ شَيْئًا، فَأَعْيَاهُ، فَقَالَ: «لَا تَيْأَسَا مِنَ الرِّزْقِ , مَا تَهَزْهَزَتْ رُءُوسُكُمَا، فَإِنَّ الْإِنْسَانَ تَلِدُهُ أُمُّهُ أَحْمَرَ لَيْسَ عَلَيْهِ قِشْرٌ، ثُمَّ يَرْزُقُهُ اللهُ»

Sayyiduna Habbah and Sawa', the two sons of Khalid (may Allah be pleased with them both), said: We went to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) while he (peace and blessings be upon him) was working on something and it had become difficult for him (peace and blessings be upon him). He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not despair of provision as long as your heads move, for a human being is born to his mother red, with no covering on him, and then Allah provides for him."

Hadith 6581

حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ ثنا، أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ سَلَّامِ بْنِ شُرَحْبِيلَ، عَنْ حَبَّةَ، وَسَوَاءٍ، ابْنَيْ خَالِدٍ قَالَا: دَخَلْنَا عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ .

This same narration has also been reported likewise from Sayyiduna Habbah and Sawa', the two sons of Khalid (may Allah be pleased with them both).

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ رَاهَوَيْهِ، ثنا أَبِي، ثنا وَكِيعٌ، وَأَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ سَلَّامٍ أَبِي شُرَحْبِيلَ، عَنْ سَوَاءِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ، قَالَ: دَخَلْتُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ

This same narration has also been reported likewise from Sayyiduna Sawa' bin Khalid (may Allah be pleased with him).
