حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ، ثنا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ، ثنا أَيُّوبُ بْنُ عُتْبَةَ الْيَمَامِيُّ، ثنا إِيَاسُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ الْأَكْوَعِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِذَا حَضَرَ الْعَشَاءُ، وَحَضَرَتِ الصَّلَاةُ، فَابْدَأُوا بِالْعَشَاءِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Salamah bin al-Akwa' (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When the evening meal is served and the prayer has also begun, then eat first."
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ النَّضْرِ الْأَزْدِيُّ، وَعُمَرُ بْنُ حَفْصٍ السَّدُوسِيُّ، قَالَا: ثنا عَاصِمُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ بْنِ سَوْرَةَ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ، قَالَا: ثنا أَيُّوبُ بْنُ عُتْبَةَ الْيَمَامِيُّ، ثنا إِيَاسُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ الْأَكْوَعِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ حَمَلَ عَلَيْنَا السِّلَاحَ فَلَيْسَ مِنَّا»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Salamah bin al-Akwa' (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever takes up arms against us is not one of us."
حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ هَارُونَ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْجَعْدِ، ثنا أَيُّوبُ بْنُ عُتْبَةَ، عَنْ إِيَاسِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «خَيْرُ فُرْسَانِنَا أَبُو قَتَادَةَ، وَخَيْرُ رَجَّالَتِنَا سَلَمَةُ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Salamah bin al-Akwa' (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The best of our horsemen is Abu Qatadah, and the best of our foot soldiers is Salamah."
