حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ، ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْوَرَّاقُ، ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ سَلَامٍ الْعَطَّارُ، ثنا عُمَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِنْ يَكُنِ الشُّؤْمُ فِي شَيْءٍ، فَفِي الْمَرْأَةِ وَالْفَرَسِ وَالدَّارِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sahl bin Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If ill omen is in anything, it is in a woman, a horse and a house."
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ، ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْوَرَّاقُ، ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ سَلَامٍ الْعَطَّارُ، ثنا عُمَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " شَيَّبَتْنِي هُودٌ وأَخَوَاتُهَا: الْوَاقِعَةُ، وَالْحَاقَّةُ، وَإِذَا الشَّمْسُ كُوِّرَتْ "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sahl bin Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Surah Hud and its sisters - al-Waqi'ah, al-Haqqah and Idha al-shamsu kuwwirat - have made me grey."
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ الرَّازِيُّ، ثنا عُمَرُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الرَّازِيُّ، ثنا أَبِي، ثنا عُمَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ قَالَ: " كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَصُومُ حَتَّى يُقَالَ: لَا يُفْطِرُ، وَيُفْطِرُ حَتَّى يُقَالَ: لَا يَصُومُ، وَكَانَ أَكْثَرُ صَوْمِهِ فِي شَعْبَانَ "
Sayyiduna Sahl bin Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would fast until it was said that he does not break his fast, and would leave fasting until it was said that he does not fast, and most of his (peace and blessings be upon him) fasting was in Sha'ban."
