I said: 'Certainly!'"

Sayyiduna Abu Talhah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I entered the mosque and sensed signs of hunger on the face of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). So I asked Umm Sulaym (may Allah be pleased with her): "Do you have anything?" She gestured with her hands and said: "I have something." I said: "Then prepare it; knead the dough." And I sent Anas and said: "Go to him, speak quietly into his ear, and invite him." When Anas came, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "This man has come to you with good. For what has your father sent you to invite us?" Anas said: "Yes," and so I faced him (peace and blessings be upon him). He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Get up, in the name of Allah." Anas ran back until he reached Abu Talhah and said: "Here is the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), coming to you along with the people." Abu Talhah said: I received him (peace and blessings be upon him) at the door, by the landing of the stairs, and said: "O Messenger of Allah, what have you done to us? I only saw signs of hunger on your face, so I prepared something for you to eat." He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Come in and rejoice." So he (peace and blessings be upon him) went inside. Their food bowl was brought, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) began to level it with his hand, then said: "Is there anything?" as if he (peace and blessings be upon him) meant some condiment. They brought their ghee container, in which there was something or nothing; he (peace and blessings be upon him) put his hand into it, and ghee began to flow from it. Then he said: "Send in ten at a time." They were about a hundred men; they came in and ate until they were full. And the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said about the food that was left over: "You and your families eat too." So they also ate and were satisfied.
