Rabah al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him), the freed slave of Banu Jahjaba, martyred on the Day of Yamamah

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ خَالِدٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، ثنا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، «فِي تَسْمِيَةِ مَنْ قُتِلَ يَوْمَ الْيَمَامَةِ، مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ، رَبَاحٌ مَوْلَى بَنِي جَحْجَبَى»
Urwah narrated that among the Ansar who were martyred on the Day of al-Yamamah was Rabah, the freed slave of Banu Jahjaba.
حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ هَارُونَ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْمُسَيَّبِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُلَيْحٍ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، فِي تَسْمِيَةِ «مَنِ اسْتُشْهِدَ يَوْمَ الْيَمَامَةِ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ، ثُمَّ مِنَ الْأَوْسِ، ثُمَّ مِنْ بَنِي عَمْرِو بْنِ عَوْفٍ، رَبَاحٌ، مَوْلَى بَنِي جَحْجَبَى»
Ibn Shihab al-Zuhri narrated that among those martyred on the Day of al-Yamamah from the Ansar, then from al-Aws, then from Banu Amr bin Awf, was Rabah, the freed slave of Banu Jahjaba.
