Sayyiduna Rabi'ah al-Jurashi (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Remain upright, and how excellent it is if you remain upright. Guard your ablution, for the best of your deeds is the prayer. And be careful regarding the earth, for it is your mother, and there is no one who does any good or evil deed upon it except that it will give news of it."

Atiyyah (may Allah have mercy on him) said that he heard Sayyiduna Rabi'ah al-Jurashi (may Allah be pleased with him) say: Someone came to the Prophet of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) (in a dream) and it was said to him (peace and blessings be upon him): Let your eye sleep, let your ear hear, and let your heart understand. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "So my eye slept, my ear heard and my heart understood." The narrator said: Then it was said to him (peace and blessings be upon him): "A king built a house and prepared a banquet, then sent a caller. Whoever responded to the caller entered the house, ate from the banquet, and the king was pleased with him; and whoever did not respond to the caller did not enter the house, did not get the banquet, and the king was displeased with him. The king is Allah, the caller is Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), and the banquet is Paradise."
