Sayyiduna al-Harith bin al-Harith al-Ghamidi (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say when he finished his food: "O Allah, to You belongs all praise. You have fed and given drink, satisfied and quenched. To You belongs praise that is not met with ingratitude, nor abandoned, nor, O our Lord, is there any freedom from need of You."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna al-Harith bin al-Harith al-Ghamidi (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: I asked my father: What is this gathering? He said: These people have gathered against a Sabi' (one they consider to have abandoned their religion) of theirs. He said: We came down, and there was the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) calling the people to the Oneness of Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, and to faith in Him, while they were rejecting what he (peace and blessings be upon him) said and harming him (peace and blessings be upon him), until midday came and the people dispersed from around him (peace and blessings be upon him). Then a woman came whose throat was uncovered, carrying a cup and a cloth. He (peace and blessings be upon him) took it from her, drank and performed ablution (wudu), then raised his head and said: "O my daughter, cover your throat, and do not fear for your father." We asked: Who is she? The people said: She is his (peace and blessings be upon him) daughter Zaynab (may Allah be pleased with her).
