حَدَّثَنَا الْمِقْدَامُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ، ثنا أَسَدُ بْنُ مُوسَى، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ الْمَكِّيُّ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ حُمَيْدٍ الطَّوِيلِ، قَالَا: ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ أَبِي هِنْدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ الْحَارِثَ بْنَ أُقَيْشٍ يُحَدِّثُ أَبَا بُرْدَةَ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «مَا مِنْ مُسْلِمَيْنِ يَمُوتُ لَهُمَا أَرْبَعَةٌ فَيَحْتَسِبَانِهِمْ إِلَّا دَخَلَا الْجَنَّةَ» . فَقِيلَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، وَثَلَاثَةٌ؟ قَالَ: «وَثَلَاثَةٌ» . قِيلَ: وَاثْنَانِ؟ قَالَ: «وَاثْنَانِ»

Abdullah bin Qays (may Allah have mercy on him) said: I heard Sayyiduna al-Harith bin Uqaysh al-Ukli (may Allah be pleased with him) narrating to Abu Burdah (may Allah have mercy on him); he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Any Muslim husband and wife who lose four children, and bear it patiently hoping for reward, will both enter Paradise." It was said: O Messenger of Allah! What if they are three? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Three as well." It was said: What if they are two? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Two as well."

Hadith 3347

حَدَّثَنَا خَلَفُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْعُكْبَرِيُّ، ثنا الْمُعَلَّى بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ أَبِي هِنْدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ، عَنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ أُقَيْشٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَا مِنْ مُسْلِمٍ يَمُوتُ لَهُ أَرْبَعَةٌ مِنَ الْوَلَدِ إِلَّا أَدْخَلَهُ اللهُ الْجَنَّةَ بِفَضْلِ رَحْمَتِهِ إِيَّاهُمْ» . قَالُوا: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ وَثَلَاثَةٌ؟ قَالَ: «وَثَلَاثَةٌ» . قَالُوا: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ وَاثْنَانِ؟ قَالَ: «وَاثْنَانِ» . قَالَ: «وَإِنَّ مِنْ أُمَّتِي لَمَنْ يَعْظُمُ حَتَّى يَكُونَ أَحَدَ زَوَايَاهَا، وَإِنَّ مِنْ أُمَّتِي لَمَنْ يَدْخُلُ فِي شَفَاعَتِهِ أَكْثَرُ مِنْ مُضَرَ»

Sayyiduna al-Harith bin Uqaysh al-Ukli (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Any Muslim who loses four children, Allah will admit him into Paradise by His grace and mercy." The Companions said: O Messenger of Allah! What if they are three? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Three as well." They said: O Messenger of Allah! What if they are two? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Two as well." Then he said: "And among my Ummah there is one who will grow so large (for Hell) that he will be the size of one of its corners; and among my Ummah there is one through whose intercession more people than the tribe of Mudar will enter Paradise."

Hadith 3348

حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثنا الْمُنْذِرُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ الْجَارُودِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، ثنا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ أَبِي هِنْدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ، عَنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ أُقَيْشٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِنَّ الرَّجُلَ مِنْ أُمَّتِي لَيَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ، فَيَشْفَعُ لِأَكْثَرَ مِنْ مُضَرَ، وَإِنَّ الرَّجُلَ مِنْ أُمَّتِي لَيَعْظُمُ لِلنَّارِ حَتَّى يَكُونَ أَحَدَ زَوَايَاهَا، وَمَا مِنْ مُسْلِمَيْنِ يُقَدِّمانِ أَرْبَعَةً مِنْ وَلَدِهِمَا إِلَّا أَدْخَلَهُمَا اللهُ الْجَنَّةَ بِفَضْلِ رَحْمَتِهِ» . فَقَالُوا: أَوْ ثَلَاثَةً؟ قَالَ: «أَوْ ثَلَاثَةً» . قَالُوا: أَوِ اثْنَيْنِ؟ قَالَ: «أَوِ اثْنَيْنِ»

Sayyiduna al-Harith bin Uqaysh al-Ukli (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A man of my Ummah will enter Paradise and will intercede for more people than the tribe of Mudar; and a man of my Ummah will grow so large for Hell that he will be the size of one of its corners. And any Muslim husband and wife who send ahead four of their children, Allah will admit them into Paradise by His grace and mercy." The Companions said: Or three? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Or three." They said: Or two? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Or two."

Hadith 3349

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ الْمَكِّيُّ، ثنا أَبُو مَعْمَرٍ الْمُقْعَدُ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ أَبِي هِنْدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ، عَنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ أُقَيْشٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «مَا مِنْ مُسْلِمٍ وَمُسْلِمَةٍ يَمُوتُ لَهُمَا أَرْبَعَةٌ مِنَ الْوَلَدِ لَمْ يَبْلُغُوا الْحِنْثَ إِلَّا أَدْخَلَهُمَا اللهُ الْجَنَّةَ» . فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ

Sayyiduna al-Harith bin Uqaysh al-Ukli (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Any Muslim man and Muslim woman who lose four children who had not yet reached puberty, Allah will admit them into Paradise." Then he related the same as mentioned before.

Hadith 3350

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحِيمِ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ أَبِي هِنْدٍ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ قَيْسٍ، عَنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ أُقَيْشٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «مِنْ أُمَّتِي مَنْ يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ بِشَفَاعَتِهِ أَكْثَرُ مِنْ مُضَرَ» .

It is narrated from Sayyiduna al-Harith bin Uqaysh al-Ukli (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Among my Ummah is one through whose intercession more people than the tribe of Mudar will enter Paradise."

Hadith 3351

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، ثنا قَطَنُ بْنُ نُسَيْرٍ، ثنا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ بْنُ أَبِي هِنْدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بنِ قَيْسٍ، عَنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ أُقَيْشٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِمِثْلِهِ، إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ: فَقَالَ لَهُ عَبْدُ اللهِ.

A similar hadith is also narrated from Sayyiduna al-Harith bin Uqaysh al-Ukli (may Allah be pleased with him), except that in this narration the wording is: "Then Abdullah (bin Qays) said to him."

حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الْقَتَّاتُ الْكُوفِيُّ، ثنا مِنْجَابُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْهِرٍ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ أَبِي هِنْدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ، عَنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ أُقَيْشٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِثْلَهُ.

A similar hadith is also narrated from Sayyiduna al-Harith bin Uqaysh al-Ukli (may Allah be pleased with him).
