حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ، ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ الرَّمَادِيُّ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ، ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي خَالِدٍ، وَمُجَالِدٌ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ جَرِيرٍ، قَالَ: «بَايَعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى شَهَادَةِ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ، وَالسَّمْعِ وَالطَّاعَةِ، وَإِقَامِ الصَّلَاةِ، وَإِيتَاءِ الزَّكَاةِ، وَالنُّصْحِ لِكُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ»
Sayyiduna Jarir (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "I pledged allegiance to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) on testifying that there is no god worthy of worship except Allah and that Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) is His servant and Messenger, and on hearing and obeying, establishing the prayer, paying the zakah, and acting sincerely towards every Muslim."
حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ، ثنا يُونُسُ بْنُ حَبِيبٍ، ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، ثنا هُشَيْمٌ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ جَرِيرٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «إِذَا أَتَاكُمُ الْمُصَدِّقُ فَلَا يَصْدُرَنَّ عَنْكُمْ إِلَّا وَهُوَ رَاضٍ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jarir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When the zakah collector comes to you, let him leave you only while he is pleased."
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ، ثنا أَبُو سَلَمَةَ يَحْيَى بْنُ خَلَفٍ، ثنا عُمَرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ جَرِيرٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِنَّمَا يَرْحَمُ اللهُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ الرُّحَمَاءَ»
Sayyiduna Jarir (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah shows mercy only to those of His servants who are merciful."
