حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ هَارُونَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْجَعْدِ، ثنا ابْنُ ثَوْبَانَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ، عَنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ مُعَاوِيَةَ، وَسُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي جَنْدَلٍ، أَنَّهُمَا سَأَلَا بِلَالًا عَنِ الْمَسْحِ، فَقَالَ: «امْسَحُوا عَلَى الْخُمُرِ وَالْمُوقِ» رَفَعَهُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
Al-Harith bin Mu'awiyah and Suhayl bin Abi Jandal said that they asked Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) about wiping, and he said: "Wipe over the turbans and the leather socks," and he attributed it to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الرَّازِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْجَعْدِ، ثنا ابْنُ ثَوْبَانَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ، عَنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ مُعَاوِيَةَ، وَسُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي جَنْدَلٍ، أَنَّهُمَا سَأَلَا بِلَالًا عَنِ الْمَسْحِ، فَقَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، يَقُولُ: «امْسَحُوا عَلَى الْخُمُرِ وَالْمُوقِ»
Al-Harith bin Mu'awiyah and Suhayl bin Abi Jandal said that they asked Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) about wiping, and he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "Wipe over the turbans and the leather socks."
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ صَالِحٍ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، ثنا الْهَيْثَمُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي وَهْبٍ، عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ، عَنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي جَنْدَلٍ الْقُرَشِيِّ، عَنْ بِلَالٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: «كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَمْسَحُ عَلَى الْمُوقَيْنِ وَالْخِمَارِ»
Al-Harith bin Mu'awiyah narrates through Sayyiduna Abu Jandal al-Qurashi (may Allah be pleased with him) from Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him). Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to wipe over the leather socks and the turban."
حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَيَحْيَى الْحِمَّانِيُّ، قَالَا: ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ الْكَلَاعِيِّ، عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ، عَنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ مُعَاوِيَةَ، وَأَبِي جَنْدَلِ بْنِ سُهَيْلٍ، قَالَ: سَأَلْنَا بِلَالًا عَنِ الْمَسْحِ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ، فَقَالَ بِلَالٌ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «امْسَحُوا عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ، وَالْمُوقِ»
Al-Harith bin Mu'awiyah and Sayyiduna Abu Jandal bin Suhayl (may Allah be pleased with him) narrate: We asked Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) about wiping over the leather socks, and Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Wipe over the leather socks and the muq (that is, the socks worn over the leather socks)."
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو غَسَّانَ مَالِكُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثنا يَحْيَى الْحِمَّانِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ السَّلَامِ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي فَرْوَةَ، عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ، عَنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنْ بِلَالٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: «كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَمْسَحُ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ، وَالْخِمَارِ»
Al-Harith bin Mu'awiyah narrates from Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him). Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to wipe over the leather socks and the turban."
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ صَالِحٍ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، ثنا الْهَيْثَمُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ، عَنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ الْكِنَانِيِّ، قَالَ: كَانَ هُوَ وَرَجُلٌ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ يَتَوَضَّآنِ مِنْ مَطْهَرَةِ الْمَسْجِدِ، فَتَنَازَعَا فِي الْمَسْحِ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ، فَقَالَ بِلَالٌ: «كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَمْسَحُ عَلَى الْمُوقَيْنِ، وَالْخِمَارِ»
Mu'awiyah al-Kinani narrates: He and a man from Quraysh were performing ablution from the ablution basin of the mosque, and the two of them disagreed about wiping over the leather socks. So Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to wipe over the leather socks and the turban."
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْمُعَلَّى الدِّمَشْقِيُّ، ثنا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَمْزَةَ، عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ، عَنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ مُعَاوِيَةَ، وَأَبِي جَنْدَلٍ، عَنْ بِلَالٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ «أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَسَحَ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ، وَالْخِمَارِ»
Al-Harith bin Mu'awiyah and Sayyiduna Abu Jandal (may Allah be pleased with him) narrate from Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) wiped over the leather socks and the turban.
حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَمْزَةَ، عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ الْمُنْذِرِ، عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ، أَنَّ بِلَالًا، مَوْلَى أَبِي بَكْرٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ أَخْبَرَ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «أَنَّهُ أَقْبَلَ مِنَ الْغَائِطِ يَوْمَ غَزْوَةِ تَبُوكَ، فَدَعَا بِوَضُوءٍ فَمَسَحَ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ»
Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him), the freed slave of Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him), reported about the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him): "He (peace and blessings be upon him) came back from relieving himself on the day of the Battle of Tabuk, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) called for water and wiped over the leather socks."
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ، ثنا بَكْرُ بْنُ خَلَفٍ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ الْمَوْصِلِيُّ، ثنا سَالِمُ بْنُ نُوحٍ، ثنا عُمَرُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ، عَنْ أَبِي جَنْدَلٍ، عَنْ بِلَالٍ، قَالَ: «رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَمْسَحُ عَلَى الْمُوقَيْنِ، وَالْخِمَارِ»
Sayyiduna Abu Jandal (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him). Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) wiping over the leather socks and the turban."
