حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ عُتَيْبَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى، عَنْ بِلَالٍ، قَالَ: «كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَمْسَحُ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ، وَعَلَى الْخِمَارِ»
Abd al-Rahman bin Abi Layla narrates from Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him); Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to wipe over the leather socks and the turban."
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ، ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ الرَّمَادِيُّ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى، وَأَبَانَ بْنِ تَغْلِبَ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى، عَنْ بِلَالٍ، قَالَ: «رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تَوَضَّأَ وَمَسَحَ عَلَى الْمُوقَيْنِ، وَالْخِمَارِ»
Abd al-Rahman bin Abi Layla narrates from Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him); Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him): he performed ablution and wiped over the leather socks and the turban."
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ، ثنا آدَمُ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ حَفْصٍ السَّدُوسِيُّ، ثنا عَاصِمُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدُوسِ بْنِ كَامِلٍ السَّرَّاجُ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْجَعْدِ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْأَسْفَاطِيُّ، ثنا الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الْأُشْنَانِيُّ، قَالُوا: ثنا شُعْبَةُ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى، عَنْ بِلَالٍ «أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تَوَضَّأَ وَمَسَحَ عَلَى خُفَّيْهِ، وَالْعِمَامَةِ»
Abd al-Rahman bin Abi Layla narrates from Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed ablution and wiped over his leather socks and the turban.

Abd al-Rahman (bin Abi Layla) narrates from Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him); Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered me to make the tathwib in (the adhan of) Fajr (that is, to say 'Prayer is better than sleep'), and forbade me from making the tathwib in Isha."
حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْرَائِيلَ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى، عَنْ بِلَالٍ، قَالَ: «أَمَرَنِي رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ أُثَوِّبَ فِي الْفَجْرِ، وَنَهَانِي أَنْ أُثَوِّبَ فِي الْعِشَاءِ»
Abd al-Rahman bin Abi Layla narrates from Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him); Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered me to make the tathwib in (the adhan of) Fajr, and forbade me from making the tathwib in Isha."
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ النَّاقِدُ، ثنا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، ثنا زِيَادٌ الْبَكَّائِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي زِيَادٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي بِلَالٌ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «إِنَّ الشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ آيَتَانِ مِنْ آيَاتِ اللهِ، فَإِذَا رَأَيْتُمْ ذَلِكَ فَافْزَعُوا إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ»
Abd al-Rahman (bin Abi Layla) said that Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) told me; he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "The sun and the moon are two of the signs of Allah. So when you see that (eclipse), hasten to the prayer."
