حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الصُّوفِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةُ زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، ثنا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ، ثنا إِسْرَائِيلُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَعْقِلٍ، عَنْ بِلَالٍ، قَالَ: «أَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أُوذِنُهُ بِالصَّلَاةِ وَهُوَ يُرِيدُ الصِّيَامَ، فَشَرِبَ، ثُمَّ نَاوَلَنِي فَشَرِبْتُ، ثُمَّ خَرَجَ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ فَصَلَّى بِنَا»
Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) to inform him of the prayer, and he wanted to fast. He (peace and blessings be upon him) drank water, then passed it to me and I drank too. Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) went out for the prayer and led us in prayer.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحِيمِ الدِّيبَاجِيُّ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ بَحْرٍ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْمُزَنِيُّ، ثنا يُونُسُ بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَعْقِلٍ، عَنْ بِلَالٍ، قَالَ: «أَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أُوذِنُهُ بِالصَّلَاةِ وَهُوَ يُرِيدُ الصِّيَامَ، فَدَعَا بِإِنَاءٍ فَشَرِبَ، ثُمَّ نَاوَلَنِي فَشَرِبْتُ، ثُمَّ خَرَجَ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ»
Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) to inform him of the prayer, and he wanted to fast.
