حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مَيْسَرَةَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الشَّرِيدِ، عَنْ أَبِي رَافِعٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «الْجَارُ أَحَقُّ بِسَقَبِهِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Rafi' (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The neighbour has more right to his adjoining property."
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ، ثنا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُوسَى، ثنا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ الْقَاضِي، ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ الرَّمَادِيُّ، قَالُوا: ثنا سُفْيَانُ، ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مَيْسَرَةَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَمْرَو بْنَ الشَّرِيدِ، قَالَ: أَخَذَ الْمِسْوَرُ بْنُ مَخْرَمَةَ بِيَدِي، فَقَالَ: انْطَلِقْ بِنَا إِلَى سَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ، فَخَرَجْتُ مَعَهُ وَإِنَّ يَدَهُ لَعَلَى أَحَدِ مَنْكِبِيَّ، فَجَاءَ أَبُو رَافِعٍ فَقَالَ لِلْمِسْوَرِ: أَلَا تَأْمُرُ هَذَا - يَعْنِي سَعْدًا - يَشْرِي مِنِّي بَيْتَيَّ اللَّذَيْنِ فِي دَارِهِ؟ فَقَالَ سَعْدٌ: لَا وَاللهِ أَزِيدُكُ عَلَى أَرْبَعِ مِئَةِ دِينَارٍ - إِمَّا قَالَ: مُقَطَّعَةً، أَوْ قَالَ: مُنَجَّمَةً - فَقَالَ أَبُو رَافِعٍ: وَاللهِ، إِنْ كُنْتُ لَأَبِيعُهَا بِخَمْسِمِائَةِ دِينَارٍ نَقْدًا، وَلَوْلَا أَنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «الْجَارُ أَحَقُّ بِسَقَبِهِ مَا بِعْتُكَ» وَاللَّفْظُ لِلْحَمِيدِيِّ
Amr bin al-Sharid (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Al-Miswar bin Makhramah (may Allah be pleased with him) took my hand and said: Come, let us go to Sa'd bin Abi Waqqas (may Allah be pleased with him). So I went out with him while his hand was on my shoulder. Then Abu Rafi' (may Allah be pleased with him) came and said to al-Miswar: Will you not tell this man - meaning Sa'd - to buy from me my two houses which are in (adjoining) his compound? Sa'd said: No, by Allah, I will not give you more than four hundred dinars - he either said: in instalments, or he said: at fixed times. Abu Rafi' (may Allah be pleased with him) said: By Allah, I could sell it for five hundred dinars in cash, and had I not heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "The neighbour has more right to his adjoining property," I would not have sold it to you. (These are the words of al-Humaydi.)
حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ، ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، حَدَّثَنِي رَوْحُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ، عَنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مَيْسَرَةَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الشَّرِيدِ، عَنْ أَبِي رَافِعٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «الْجَارُ أَحَقُّ بِسَقَبِهِ»
Sayyiduna Abu Rafi' (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "The neighbour has more right to his adjoining property."
