حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ الْعَلَّافُ الْمِصْرِيُّ، ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ أَبِي عَمْرٍو، أَخْبَرَنِي الْمُغِيرَةُ بْنُ أَبِي رَافِعٍ، عَنْ أَبِي رَافِعٍ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ: «رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَكَلَ كَتِفَ شَاةٍ، ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَمَسَّ مَاءً»
Sayyiduna Abu Rafi' (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) eating the shoulder of a goat, then he (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed without touching water."
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ أَبِي عَمْرٍو، عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ أَبِي رَافِعٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: «رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أُتِيَ بِكَتِفٍ فَأَكَلَهَا، ثُمَّ صَلَّى، وَلَمْ يَمَسَّ قَطْرَةَ مَاءٍ»
Sayyiduna Abu Rafi' (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "I saw that a shoulder was brought to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him); he (peace and blessings be upon him) ate it, then prayed, and did not touch even a single drop of water."
