حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، ثنا يُوسُفُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الصَّفَّارُ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَثَّامِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ، عَنْ سُعَيْرِ بْنِ الْخِمْسِ، عَنْ مُغِيرَةَ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ: سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الْوَسْوَسَةِ، فَقَالَ: «ذَاكَ مَحْضُ الْإِيمَانِ»
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked about waswasah (evil whispering), and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "That is a sign of pure faith."
