حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْأَسْفَاطِيُّ، ثنا عِيسَى بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْبِرَكِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ: «مَنْ أَتَى عَرَّافًا أَوْ كَاهِنًا يُؤْمِنُ بِمَا يَقُولُ فَقَدْ كَفَرَ بِمَا أُنْزِلَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ»
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "Whoever goes to a fortune-teller or a soothsayer and believes what he says has disbelieved in what was revealed to Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him)."
