It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Bring me three stones." Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) performed ablution and did not touch water. I brought him (peace and blessings be upon him) two stones and a piece of dung, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Throw away the dung, for it is filth."
