حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ يَحْيَى السَّاجِيُّ، ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ قَزَعَةَ، ثنا الْفُضَيْلُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي يَحْيَى الْأَسْلَمِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي أَسْمَاءَ، مَوْلَى آلِ جَعْفَرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي رَافِعٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِعَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللهُ تَعَالَى عَنْهُ: «سَيَكُونُ بَيْنَكَ وَبَيْنَ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ تَعَالَى عَنْهَا أَمْرٌ» قَالَ: أَنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟ قَالَ: «نَعَمْ» قَالَ: أَنَا مِنْ بَيْنِ أَصْحَابِي؟ قَالَ: «نَعَمْ» قَالَ: فَأَنَا أَشْقَاهُمْ؟ قَالَ: «لَا، وَلَكِنْ إِذَا كَانَ ذَلِكَ فَارْدُدْهَا إِلَى مَأْمَنِهَا»
Sayyiduna Abu Rafi' (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him): "A matter will arise between you and Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her)." He said: Me, O Messenger of Allah? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Yes." He said: Me, out of all my companions? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Yes." He said: Then am I the most wretched of them? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "No, but when that happens, send her back to her place of safety."
