حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، أنا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أنا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، أَنَّ ابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ، قَالَ فِي الرَّجُلِ وَالْمَرْأَةِ: «هُمَا سَوَاءٌ إِلَى خَمْسٍ مِنَ الْإِبِلِ» قَالَ: وقَالَ عَلِيٌّ: «النِّصْفُ مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ»
Mujahid narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) concerning the man and the woman that he said: "They are equal up to five camels." The narrator said: And Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "(It is) half in everything."
