Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 9622 — Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud was asked

Masruq narrated that Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) was asked about a man who said to his wife: Choose (as you wish), and she remained silent; then he said again: Choose, and she remained silent again; then he said a third time: Choose, and she said: I have chosen myself. He said: "It is three (divorces)."
