Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 9545 — Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud said: Seek

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ، قَالَ: قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ: «تَحَرَّوْا لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ لَيْلَةَ سَبْعَ عَشْرَةَ صَبِيحَةَ بَدْرٍ، أَوْ إِحْدَى وَعِشْرِينَ لَيْلَةً أَوْ ثَلَاثٍ وَعِشْرِينَ»
Al-Aswad said that Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "Seek Laylat al-Qadr on the seventeenth night, the morning of which was (the battle of) Badr, or on the twenty-first night, or the twenty-third night."
